Welcome to Village Elementary School in York Maine. York is a popular sea-coast community in southern Maine. Settled in 1632, it was incorporated as a town in 1652 making it the second oldest town in Maine and according it a rich historical heritage that was closely associated with founding families whose descendants are still active residents of York. The Town of York consists of York Village, York Beach, York Harbor and Cape Neddick and hosts four beautiful beaches. York is easily accessible from Boston and Portland via Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1 and, given its historical and recreational appeal, it has become a most desirable community for tourists and commuter families as well.
Village Elementary School is York’s accredited K-1 primary school. As an accredited school, Village meets and exemplifies high standards of educational excellence.
